Anna Koosmann is an American architect from the midwest and Fulbright Scholar assisting the first design+build architecture studio at Foundation University in the Philippines.  Previously, she was a visiting instructor for the program at Foundation University from October 2012 through March 2014.  She led students through the comprehensive design and construction of two community buildings: Dungga Classroom located in a rural mountain village, and Panaghiusa Multipurpose Hall for flood survivors of two national disasters in Dumaguete City.  The design+build program, Estudio Damgo, is now nationally awarded for showcasing innovation in bamboo and sustainable design in the Philippines.  Teaching in the Philippines archives her experience as a Fulbright Scholar and instructor while living abroad.  Learn about the design+build program, Estudio Damgo, and follow our Facebook Page.
